Gayatri Temple in Mysore Palace is located on the eastern side of the palace and adjacent to the Jayamarthanda Gate corresponding to the Trinayaneswara Temple.

Savitri (goddess the daughter of the solar deity Savitr and the wife of the creator god Brahma), Gayathri (Gayatri mantra (hymn) personified in the form of the goddess) and Lakshmi (Goddess of wealth, prosperity , fortune, and the embodiment of beauty).
